On behalf of Capel-le-Ferne Parish Council, as a Village, we are extremely proud of James Sheridan, who grew up in our community.

He has been an inspiration in the knowledge and skills of his activity of stunt riding his bike, in manoeuvres of breath-taking proportion and exceptional abilities. He has entertained the public at various events locally showing his outstanding display of thrilling feats and moves.

James was the motivation and vision for the Village to have its very own skate-park, which encouraged others to take up this recreational interest. He officially opened our Skate-Park, "In-Ferne-O", in 2013, which is still an incredibly popular part of our Playing Field, still used to its full extent, by all ages, to this day."
